Market update as on 21 November 2016

Sensex:

            Today, the Sensex dropped 385.10 points to close at 25765.14 down by 1.47%.

Nifty:

          Today, the Nifty also lost around 187.85 points to close at 8108.45 down by 1.80%.

Reason:

             Growth worries coupled with the effects of demonetisation erased all the gains of the year 2016.

INR / 1 EURO : 72.3530

CRR : 4%

SLR : 20.75%

Stock:

           The TCS shares gained 0.37% .

Business News:

Bringing some relief for banks and non banking finance companies from demonetisation, the Reserve Bank of India has relaxed certain asset classification and provisioning norms. Some borrowers will be given additional 2 months to pay back dues to banks. This is for loans sanctioned to NBFCs, HFCs and PACs by banks.
