Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag is a game which I wanted to play for a long time after Assassins Creed 1 and 2. So that is why I got the Assassins Creed Americas Collection consisting of 3 AC games in a single disc. So coming to the game, I totally loved it!
The game kept me hooked to it continuously for 5 days completing all the missions and trophies that the game had to offer. Before playing this game, Assassins Creed 2 was the best game I had played on a console mainly for its awesome graphics and the storyline which keeps you interesting till you finish! And what a character Ezio Auditore da Firenze was! Assassins Creed 4 is a good deviation from the normal Assassins Creed games which makes you search a bit of history. Here you get to be Edward Kenway who is more interested in making money than other things. And since I love pirates, this game would be a great game for those who love pirates and want to plunder ships and upgrade your own.
The main advantages of this game are the vast open world where every time you start to play you are not short of discovering new islands and treasures, the things you can do on land and on sea, the side quests which was more interesting than the main story and some beautiful moments with Blackbeard and other important characters of the pirate world. This game is a must buy for all who love the Assassins Creed franchise. The free running experience and jumping from branches and trees are so much fun. It does come with the usual glitches and irritating moments where Edward jumps to places where we do not intend and makes the character look silly. I also had 2 moments of bugs but it was very minor for a game of this size. The storyline could have been made a little more interesting. You have two big cities in Nassau and Kingston to explore and enjoy. Some missions require you to tail your target for around 15 minutes before killing them. It seemed to be a bit irritating as I didn't understand a word they said. But this game has a lot to offer than these minor disadvantages. For all those who love playing epic, must-play games I strongly recommend this one. Its available on xbox, playstation and PC. And lastly, lookout for bargains while buying since this is an old game released way back in 2013.
